For stationary objects (non human, lol) I would think a single camera on a curved rail or track would be much more practical and cheaper?

If it performs as well as a (calibrated) 18-35 does on my SL1, I'm sure it will be a very nice lens! And built like a tank!

Received mine too. Not as quiet as other STM lenses I've used, but MUCH quieter than the old one. Same lens with better build quality. In my opinion, worth the $125.
