On article Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10/LX15 Review (407 comments in total)

I clearly remember when I saw the Panasonic DMC LX1 digital compact camera in a edition of a photography magazine; I fell hopelessly in love with it’s design so much that to me it didn’t matter that it’s I.S.O capability was poor. The designs of the later up-grades remained faithful to the original LX1 upto LX3. However the design of the Leica versions ie the D-Lux 2 and 3 were even better. By the time I had the money to buy a Panasonic LX series digital camera, the design had changed quite a bit, I bought the LX7 but unfortunately they were not available in silver, only black. To me the designs of those early LX series digital cameras including the Leica versions were design-classics.

JEROME NOLAS: I think Leica should change the design, it's old and ugly!!!

The design of Leica M cameras is still great for the 21st century, it’s simple yet elegant design is a stark contrast to ugly Panasonic S1 which looks like it was constructed out of 100 Lego pieces 🤣
