AndyC400D: Dude, what's wrong with cutting the slots with a dremel?

Much more control with a stationary blade. Adam explained that in an earlier video.

mpgxsvcd: No matter what we say about it loads of people will buy this camera. They will think they bought the latest and greatest in camera technology simply because Canon is all they know.

Those people probably will be satisfied with the pictures and photos they get from it. It is a capable camera that can produce great results in the right hands.

Canon really has figured out the market. They know that most people HATE doing research on electronics. They know that most consumers just ask their friends what to buy or they watch a YouTube video about it.

Most people aren't here on Dpreview at 5:00 AM for release day making fun of Canon's latest half hearted effort. Canon knows this so they will continue their trend of making modest upgrades year after year as the competition continues to run circles around them.

Well said Samuel C. My clients could care less about me having the best spec sheet. I need usability and reliability.
