Hi all, I hiked up to The Subway in Zion National Park yesterday. As usual, it was a tiring hike, but the payoff at the end always makes it worth it. Here is a shot of Archangel Falls just before ...

Thanks for that feedback Jerry. Yeah, that shadow on the left is annoying me too. I do have a lot of other compositions. Will check them once back in civilization. :-)

Nice shot. Love OP. Curious as to how the folks hiked in from the valley? That path has been closed since August 2019 due to the rockfall. Is there another path from the valley?

As mentioned, it was a backpacking trip, not a day hike.

I had a fabulous backpacking trip to Coyote Gulch in GCNRA, Utah the last couple of days. Hiked 10 miles in with a 45 lb backpack - and the hike out was so exhausting (Hurricane Wash). But checked ...

BTW this is the new ladder.

I agree - a decent photo at this location is really contingent on the lighting.

Hi Rick - I did not do the lower this time because of that ugly ladder. Luckily I have shot the lower falls before. The water was crazy cold. - check out the hiking trail between the lower and the ...

I really didn't realize how cold it would be. Here are some photos of the hike between the Lower and the Upper. I could only bear to stay there for an hour - it was that cold. My gloves and tripod ...

@ericbowles - that is just not true. I had even emailed RRS when I first saw Leofoto' s ball-head offering and they told me they are "addressing it". Obviously they cannot do much given that...

@ericbowles - yes, they are a Chinese knockoff. But they sell the product in the USA openly. If they were indeed infringing on RRS's patents, RRS would have sued them a long time ago (just as RRS...

Tripods don't get out-dated. Unless they find something lighter and more rigid than carbon fiber, there is no other innovation needed. The only time these tripods will be updated is if someone...

I keep hearing how they ripped off RRS. If there was IP theft, RRS would have gone after them by now and these products could not have been sold in the US. Which tells me that RRS does not have any...

Unless you do the Ninja walk with this, you will have the issue you highlighted. A GoPro does not show that issue and is very smooth - makes me wonder how GP can achieve that while Apple can't?

This gimbal is a let down as it can barely balance an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Additionally it seems that the degrees of freedom (of movement) are now more limited as compared with the OM4.
