On photo The little sexy tongue in the Peeping Beauty, (flowers just opening) challenge (4 comments in total)
In reply to:

RuthC: Congratulations, bombelpl, on your win in this 'Peeping Beauty' challenge, with your delightful image of a bud, with just a hint of a bright red petal peeping out to the world. Excellent details and colour contrasts.
I am very disappointed to note that while you participate freely in the challenges, and accept everyone's votes for your entries, you don't reciprocate, and vote for other entries, in this or any other challenges. You've entered 104 challenges, and never, ever voted once.
RuthC

First of all - thanks for your congratulations!

As for voting - I do not vote, because I don't want to create even the impression that I have the slightest even influence on the results of the competition in which my photo appears.

What's more, I am not a very 'network-oriented' person: I dont have a facebook/instagram account (I feel no need to have one and I'm happy with it), I am not very internet-active in chatting, 'messenging', 'txting' and so, and after all I have strong feelings, that world will very smooth go round even with lack of my voting. Maybe it is because I am old, I grew up in the time, when we had our passions, love, friendship all face to face, not face to screen... Name it as you wish: selfishness, backwardness, dull old age, shyness, introversion, or schizoid personality...
I'm sorry if my behavior is irritating to you; you can freely ban me from all your challebges - I promise I'll understand why and for what reason and take it easy.

Greetings - Paul

On photo two guitars in bombelpl's photo gallery (1 comment in total)

This is one exposition, a single shot of two guitars: the small one, made of mini-lego standing on the white base and the second - real instrument - standing away, against the white wall.

This single frame was postprocessed in Lightroom from NEF file.

Well, this is a photomontage - clever, but it is striking that the left and right ones dont reflect, but simply they are reversed. Anyway, at first glance looks good. :)

And my answer is:

Well, then you should write about it in the Rules. There is no any single word about EXIF in there, how could I know you need it?

Its not fair, but anyway, I dont care. One more challenge or one less, who cares?

maboule123: My friend kust came back from Istanbul: It's a montage. Definitely.

About the photo itself: its not a montage (definitely), and its not a HDR in any way. Its a single frame in RAW format processed in Lightroom 3.6. And to maboule123 - I can show you where to stay to see this view. :) I've got several photos from that place.

photo nuts: An unusual shot. I finally see the value of shooting at 8 mm. Love it. :)

Thanks for your kind words. I always liked wide-angle lenses, but this Sigma makes me really a UWA lover! It is a great choice for an architecture (which is my main filed of interests in photography) and I dont know how I could live so many years without it. :)

Hello -

and many thanks to all of visiting guests and voting users! Sorry for not responding, but I was offline for a while.

I didnt know that Haga Sofia is not a mosque any more - although I could guess by the fact, that one can go inside wearing shoes. I couldnt go inside to about 6 active mosques in Istanbul I visited wearing any type of shoes - Haga Sofia is an exception. I repeat, I didnt realize it.

About the photo itself: its not a montage (definitely), and its not a HDR in any way. Its a single frame in RAW format processed in Lightroom 3.6. And to maboule123 - I can show you where to stay to see this view. :) I've got several photos from that place.

Thanks once more for visiting, and best regards!
