Thanks for the test! :) What is the "high resolution" then? Not a word to be found on their site?

First link doesn't compute here... Didn't dpreview order a hi-res image for test? Why not? There's a disappointed reviewer some posts below...

Don't know about * that * combo, but my D800 with 70-200 f/4 coped longer in the cold than I did... Be careful when taking it inside, though. I remove the card and just let camera and lenses stay ...

Correct. Except when we talk about ADL... " The Active D-Lighting option in the shooting menu adjusts exposure before shooting to optimize the dynamic range, while the D-Lighting option in the ...

Not a fan of ADL here, as it burns the raw with the "corrections"... And not a fan of HDR either... :-D Much prefer to expose for (a preferred) highlight level and in post lift the shadows. Or when ...

Have you seen this inspiring repair thread https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4254070 I know it's for the 17-35, but still... same principle. A 28-70 repair manual can be found here https://ele ...

Uh! finally my dear beloved 17-35mm may retire?! After only some 23 years! ^ ^ And it's almost 300 grams lighter! Now only Nikon needs to cut off the bottom of the Z9, call it Z8-or-whatever and...

Glass always win. But seeing this is about phones, I have no idea what-so-ever. Carry on! :-D

Reported! :-D If you look at a sequence of shots, you can see which pattern has been used if you had activated bracketing. Another cause could be programmed mode, auto iso or something equally ...

Sigh. Once again.... @Greg: please re-read. No crapping on anything! And 3V: thank you! Exactly what I was trying to find! But my three braincells couldn't think of combining "james webb" and...

You guys needs to read properly. And I'm still curious how the three-legged spider can produce that diffraction pattern. I only have some forty years experience of telescopes and space...

Meh... I see disturbing diffractions! In center of star two (?) horizontals, three above and three below. That's 8 or 10 diffration spikes, but how does that add up, when the secondary mirror is...

So you didn't buy from mpb then... That's not "excellent" or "just nano coating", that's a damaged lens. That you haven't returned it, is beyond me.
