On article Nikon D500 versus D750: Which one is right for you? (372 comments in total)

I want the AF of the D500 but I don't want a cropped sensor, and I don't want the D5 cause it's size and weight so I will have to wait...

I would buy it only if it was in a 5D sized body

what's this your camera my camera childish talk , non of you lose or gain with profits or losses of these companies. The thing that is more important is to get what you want at the best price regardless of who makes it.

aarif: people want OVF :) make a normal DSLR

About the size issue well how small do you want it, personally the smaller-sized DSLRs are small enough for me any smaller and it won't be easy to handle, the D750 I mostly use feels right I wouldn't want anything much smaller then that. Now it's about time that the top pro-lever DSLRs come in smaller packages, not every one has an issue with there prices but don't like the extra size and weight. if Nikon was cleaver enough to make 2 versions of the D5 one without the grip I would have bought it without a question. I think they are missing a trick here

But let me say something personally I'm not against change and don't care if it's a DSLR VSLR or QSLR as long as it doesn't compromise but improve the older technology, right now overall it doesn't.

I really don't want to lose AF speed accuracy battery life which people some times forget about. Plus lens choices and please don't tell me adapters. Already all DSLRs are mirror-less too in LV so they just need to improve it's AF and project it some how in the VF and you'll have a hybrid

Traditional DSLRs, you mean SLTs.
