The Df shoots 16MP images in splendid color. Compared to the D850, I find the images it takes more pleasing.

I tried one with a Df, I found the colors a bit off, especially the greens.

The Tamron 35/1.4 is one of my most used lenses. With a D850, it's easy to see if focus is even tiny bit off. But when focus is spot-on it can deliver biting-sharp results.

I find the colors on some of the images rather unnatural. Could be post processing, or maybe I just prefer the colors from the Df. A D700 body with the Df sensor would have been the perfect camera.

I'm sorry isn't it clear by now that Nikon is phasing out its DSLR gear?

Normally when Sony and Nikon are compared, it's mirrorless vs mirrorless and not mirrorless vs DSLR. I think you'd get more meaningful answers in the Nikon Z forum.

That depends on how your phone is configured. On my iPhone I have automatic updates switched off.
