Hey folks, I'm a happy owned of the Z6II, but I was wondering if there is any way to record in a true 24-30fps, instead of the 23.97 and 29.97 fps that seems to be the case with the Z-series bodies. ...

I use Godox Speedlights, which are largely the same as the nikon speedlights, but of course could require a firmware update as you say. Thanks for chiming in!

Hey folks' Apologies for the stupid question. Until recently I was shooting with my trusty Nikon D800, and have 2 speedlights for it. Is it safe to use these speedlights on my new Z6II? I'm 95% ...

Wait, raw does line-skipping? I had no idea. What you say makes sense though. I'm crossing my fingers for some kind of firmware update that makes the processor a tad more optimized and can handle ...

Hey everyone, Would anyone happen to know why shooting 10-bit has a 1.1x crop on the Z6II? I'm using the Atomos Ninja V recorder, and 8-bit has no crop, but the moment I turn on 10-bit, there is a ...

Without meaning to sound like a douche here, I *think* NASA knows what they're doing.

The cost of CFast cards is one of the reasons I shoot video externally on the Atomos recorder instead. I just slap in a cheap SSD which costs a fraction of CFast in terms of dollar to GB ratio.

That is a HILARIOUS amount of thermal paste. I don't even put that much on my own CPU's (Proportionally to the surface area, I mean.)

I just got mine in the mail today. So far, it is lovely. Pretty fast AF, completely, utterly silent. I mean NO noise whatsoever. I almost don't notice it's focused, pretty nice. Lightweight, but ...

So I finally got my hands on the 28-75mm F/2.8 . First impressions. It's light. Real light. Small. Feels surprisingly good in the hand, I was expecting the lightness to feel cheap. But it's not. ...
-
Oh I completely agree with you, and you've come to the same conclusion I have. I myself am not confused about it, the 28-75mm fits my needs perfectly. I was simply referring to the plethora of ...

I'm not going to get into semantics in a forum discussion, but yes, people are confused about where this lens fits in amidst the myriad of other lenses in this focal range, it's not my opinion, ...

You are wonderful. Thank you for writing this up for us. Great to hear about the coatings, Nikon does Specify on their website that the 28-75 2.8 has ED and Super ED lens coatings, so that's ...

949 quid is $1272 though. So... about the same? VAT Varies from country to country, and even state to state.

F4 is too slow for my needs, and the 24-70 2.8 is over double the price. Is it 1200$ better? Probably not, Even used, that 24-70 2.8 S isn't going to be much cheaper, maybe a couple hundred ...

Hey thank you so much for translating that for us! I really liked that video, the images and footage looked amazing. Was definitely quite reassuring to see. Maybe it's not the perfect lens, ...

I had the same issue with the Z6II, and the easy elegant solution was this bracket here: https://www.smallrig.com/smallrig-l-bracket-for-nikon-z5-z6-z7-z6-ii-z7-ii-camera-apl2258.html You can ...

Hey folks, I'm really looking hard to find any solid reviews or thoughts on the new 28-75mm 2.8 Z lens. There's a few youtube videos up now, but they're either extremely one-dimensional and ...

I was excited to finally see a review of the lens, but was massively let down by this video. Apart from showing the flaring and showing a few examples, there were no comparisons, and he's just ...

I'm pretty excited for it. I need something a tiny bit wider than my 35mm, I want the 2.8, but not keen on spending over $2000 for the 24-70 2.8 S. I could go for the 27-70 F/4, but again, I want ...
