And still be able to use the LVF 11

I'm really hoping for an fp mk.2 with a sensor with faster readout. I personally don't think it needs much else. If later on Sigma could manage an FFF sensor in an fp style body, ie all the ...

After hunting around a bit it seems that they had a variety cameras so perhaps BRAW was what was common to all of them. I believe the Fp is a bit unique in offering CDNG.
-
But it's a feature not news or current affairs so I don't quite get the need for speed and although I'm still very inexperienced at grading CDNG seems a bit more flexible which for snow might be ...

I've managed to borrow an Fp twice now and think it's great. The 12 bit CDNG is brilliant so I think it's a bit weird that a feature being shot in snow would choose to shoot BRAW.

It's important to have an awareness of how places change over time but this timelapse doesn't show all that much. I first visited Dubai in 1985, so at the start of this, and liked the place. I last...

Foveon certainly seems to be able to produce great results in the right hands. Am I right in thinking that Foveon is not great for video though? Just to be clear that is not in any way critical ...

Thanks very much indeed for posting that.

All except 2 shots were stationary so perhaps not much of a test. The 2 tracking shots looked good though. I'd have liked to see a couple of pans and tilts as well.

Nothing happening among oppressive corporate architecture is what this shot is about to me. I'm not so keen on the subject being dead centre and I wonder if a wider shot, making the subject ...

I don't know, it seems relevant to me. But you're right of course that this forum is not really the place to discuss such things. It might be the place though to discuss how you can talk about ...

The wider perspective of course should include America putting missiles in Romania and Poland and cancelling the INF treaty.

I'm sure we all enjoy the photo and complaining about current prices but I'm not really sure the photo makes people think about the results of those 1970s prices. I don't want to get into a ...

There's not really a single sequence. Those shots could go together in any order. Maybe see if you can build a sequence somewhere with a few cuts on action perhaps. I also have no idea of the ...

Thanks for this review. It all sounds good so far and it's quite hard not to put in an order but I think I'll carry on updating my post suite while I wait to see what sort of 12 bit recording will...

Quite nicely cut. Well done.

If you want to zoom while recording you need a parfocal zoom, really an optically parfocal zoom, which is expensive. A couple of years ago I and a friend experimented with an Angenieux 12 - 120, ...

I'm using Davinci Resolve. It seems a bit complicated at first but I like it.

I'm currently also researching a project to be shot over a long period of time. I'm currently wondering about colour grading as it would mean shooting in the same locations in different ...
