  • A lovely set of panoramas Peter. I really like the second, though I think the third has to be my favourite as the light is so good. What a wonderful location.
  • Replied in Bow and Violin
    A lovely family set RR.
  • Replied in RRLC
Another interesting set Rich, showing a whole different aspect of life to that over here. One thing that struck a chord was your image of the Morris Minor and it's awesome power. I had a friend who ...
  • That's a top quality portrait Andrew. The pose is lovely. The Model A looks terrific. I'm a bit of a sucker for trucks of any size from the time of the Model A to the late sixties.
  • A beautiful scene WN and one of my favourites so far from this series. The reflection and the light on the mountains are terrific. I bought a used copy of the 12-32 some time ago but sent it back ...
  • A lovely rose and I don't mind the composition. flower photography is not easy and I have to agree with WN - the best composition is often compromised by leaves, buds and other blooms. I would ...
  • Replied in Almost Spring
The carpet of yellow in the first is beautiful especially in that light and the Spring Beauty is indeed a beautiful plant. I look forward to seeing what becomes of the animals, once the ...
  • I'd like to say they were but they were actually taken with a long lens out of an upstairs window of a cottage we were staying in at the time.
  • Thanks Peter. It is a beautiful place and a favourite of mine but it can be difficult to escape the crowds in the popular areas.
  • January is a good time when the days are cold and crisp but if it's wet and cloudy, it can be quite dark all day.  In the other 3 seasons it can be very hard to get way from the crowds.
  • It was a lovely day Dave. We had a bit of a stormy night last night and it's not stopped raining for hours.
  • I've not had much chance to get out and about with the camera over the last couple of weeks but I came across a few unprocessed images from a couple of years ago. These are of Skiddaw in the ...
  • Those two images are lovely Bruce. I like the way you've framed the first and the light and just the right amount of snow brings out the shapes and textures beautifully.
  • Lovely shots Peter and you only get to see the scale of the landscape when you see the bridge on the first shot. These images prove that some landscapes can look great in what some might refer to ...
  • A nice series Dicky. Those Black Jezebels are beautiful. I've just ordered an MC 1.4 and am looking forward to getting to grips with it on the 300mm when (if!) the good weather arrives.
  • Replied in Psychadelic
A great set Rich and I hope the new camera proves to be a good one. I really like the shot with the guitars and ukuleles and the colours are great in them all.
  • Replied in Companion
The two shots together make for a nice set WN. I like the composition on both.
  • Nicely stitched Andrew. I think I prefer version 1, though 2 does make more of those bright colours.
  • A lovely varied set Andrew. I really like the Maserati, the angle you've shot from makes it look imposing and the mono processing suits it. The two landscapes are beautiful.
  • A nice set Dave. I like the way you've framed the boat and reflection. I never seem to hanker after any of the earlier digital cameras I've owned but at the moment I keep thinking about trying out ...
