Hi, So I had a ring of mist on the inside of the rear glass of a vintage meyer-optik lens from the 1960's or so. I used isopropanol to remove it, it worked but also removed the coating. Never heard ...

Hi, So I bought that used lens, Carl Zeiss Jena 135mm/f3.5. In normal horizontal position or facing down the focus ring stops solid at around 15m just as it should at infinity. When I tilt the lens ...

I never understood these graphs. There were no elements concave on both sides. This is great lens btw, there are many iterations of it, the first one that I also have was not good by today ...

So I didn't clean the middle group of lenses. I am pretty happy with the clarity of the lens overall. After putting all together I have excessive softness on edges. I must have put a glass wrong way. ...

I have tried release liquid for stuck screws to no avail. It worked in other places in this lens which had been stuck too. I don't think the lens had been messed with before.

Hi, Are there good third party dumb F to Z adapters, as good with vintage manual Nikkor lenses as FTZ would be? Thanks, Andy

It looks like this teleconverter was not meant to be opened.

OK, this was all informative. So using a vintage 300mm prime manual lens would not be so easy with IBIS? I thought IBIS would be a great advantage with long manual lenses. Pity! I cannot justify ...

Rubber tool won't do it. This converter is ideal for my purposes. I need it for long manual lenses.
