I use this one. It works. I'd rather have a good plastic or metal one, but it's cheap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQAMTJVT8Yg

Whoops, I meant new 23 1.4. It's a really good Fuji lens. The 50 S 1.8 is on my list, but I might get the 24-120 f4 first, if it becomes available. I have fond memories of using my old 12-60 Zuiko ...

The AA filter is interesting, and I don't mind it. With my new/used Z6, it seems plenty sharp. My X-T4 with my new 35 1.4 is sharper, but that's a $1000 prime, vs the $270 40 f2 I'm using on the ...

I haven't "switched" to Nikon, but I did recently buy a Z6 in addition to my Fuji gear. The Nikon has several very nice qualities. The viewfinder is excellent, even though it's the same resolution ...

Thanks everyone. I find that sometimes when I try a new system I just have to let my eyes adjust to what the camera likes to do, and not worry too much the first couple weeks. But I wanted to ...

I'm a new Nikon user (Z6), shooting raw, and wondering if anyone has tips for general white balance settings. At first the default settings seem a little blue (auto wb). Thom Hogan's guide, which ...

Sharp indeed, on the farther eye in this case. Definitely have to worry about depth of field.

One of those macro level detail shots. Nice work.

I was drinking coffee today downtown and these guys set up and started playing. Just friends, they said, not a band. Russ, Jacob and Sam. Really, really good, with great singing. Turns out Jacob ...

Just bought my first Nikon, a used Z6, for not much at MPB. Seems to work better than any camera I have owned, in terms of total competence (especially AF). So while I haven't tried the Z6ii, I ...

Picked up a used Z6 and a new 40 f2, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Really feels dialed in. Mostly just have to figure out the processing, since the files are slightly different than other ...

Me too. I have slightly shaky hands (something more and more common among aging camera buyers) and IBIS helps tremendously, even at 23mm. For me, it means the difference between iso 200 or 400 and ...

Feels fine on my X-T4. Feels even better with an X-H1. I't big enough that I tend not to use it except for events and such. That's the case with most fast, quality zooms like that.

I would call that a quackin' good performance (ducks). : )

Everyone is different. When I get a new Fuji camera I just set the shutter dial to T, then I adjust the iso with the iso dial, the f stop on the lens, and shutter speed with the back dial. So ...

Very nice. Do you use a Fringer adapter, or just manual focus?

Just above where it flattens out before hitting Lake Superior in Duluth. There were a couple guys fishing for steelhead on the flat section...

I'm not sure how the camera generates evf previews for HHHR images. Are they based on the composite, or just on the single companion raw? In any case, you describe a problem I've often had with ...

Thanks everyone. This was a good lesson for me in keeping an orderly catalog and websites. I saw a post on social media in a local photography forum asking if anyone had creek photos. I sent them ...
