Biowizard: #TRUMP can't call the latest US Military cock-up or atrocity "#FakeNews" if it's been recorded by military photographers, so he gets rid of the photographers. There's no end to this man's deviation.

Brian

It's not the Commander in Chief getting rid of the Combat Camera units,...that decision is made at the stakeholders level,...the Chief of each branch of services as the funding is distributed across the budgets. So,..essentially, the Naval Commanders made the decision to get rid of the CC units,...not the Commander in Chief.

gozima: $700 billion dollars of known military spending and even more money earmarked for spending next year and they're actually cutting programs. Where does all that money even go? I guess it's convenient the pentagon has never been audited. God knows what you'd find!

That's because a lot of money is getting ready to be sent to the pockets of DoD contractors! Hey,...the easiest way to get funding for DoD is to say it's broken! It is what it is. Note,...I think I can speak on this,...after serving 30 years in the Corps.

After seeing these,...I'd rather go with available off-the-shelf glass from Nikon,....and spend the rest on a E60 M5 and rev the engine pass 7000 rpms! :-)

JMD-70: I have the Mate 9,...and I'm impressed with its speed, screen size, and 4k mah battery! I paid just $459. There is no way I'd give anyone $800 for a freak'n phone!

Yes! And the "Fingerprint" reader is crazy fast,....suppose to be the fastest fingerprint reader on the smartphone market!

Using the 'Loupe',...I'm blown away with the detail captured of the windmills in the far,...far,..far distance!

Also,..the utility pole,..one can even make out the electrical lines. Just plain awesome.

Based on what I'm seeing when putting the D850 against Sony (A7R II), Canon (5DIV), and Nikon (D750 / D810),...the D850 is slaying all other bodies if you qualify its "high resolution" files, etc. It is the New "JOAT" (Jack of All Trades) DSLR and is currently the best 1-Body DSLR camera on the planet without a doubt!

Your eyes may tell you different,....but I'm seeing an improvement,...and given the crazy high-res files,....I say "Homerun" for Nikon!

...."throw out a ruling made by a lower court that found animals incapable of owning copyrights."!

So, PETA wants to claim that an "animal" has a legal right to own a copyright of itself!

Ok,..let me read this backwards and see if I can gain insightful understanding:,..."!flesti fo thgirypoc a nwo ot thgir lagel a sah "lamina" na taht mialc ot stnaw ATEP

Ok,...what the heck that I miss! WTFIGO,.....What The Freak is Going On?

User9362470513: I remember seeing a banner ad for Nikon in 2007 advertising the D3 with a yellow GP motorbike angled into the corner of a circuit with sparks flying off the rider's knee in very gloomy conditions at a high ISO (6400). The tagline was something about how no other camera could have captured the scene. I recall how impressed I was at the time. Still looks good now.

I have that poster image framed! Well,..actually,...I have it reversed showing the array of Nikon lens and the D3 centered amongst them. Perhaps one day it will be a collector item!

....wished this was captured at nearer settings as the D4s image(s). But thank you all the same. I assume you had slow glass,...given the F/5.3 aperture.

IMO,...this is nice ISO 12,800 performance. I guess my D3s is getting dated! I'm considering the upcoming D5, but will settle for a D4s. The DR and high ISO performance increase would be a positive over my D3s. Thank you for sharing!
