  • Pentax lets you set either the "Interval" (time between start of one image to start of next image) or "Standby Interval" (time between end of one image to the start of the next image), but not both ...
  • Replied in Finally!!!
I think it's more open for panny bodies without OIS then with: (1) The G9 and G85 IBIS are pretty much on par with the E-M1.1 and E-M5.2 (not quite E-M1X claimed level, true),
  • Replied in NDA?
Maybe they had to sign (and honor) a Non-Disclosure Agreement to get prerelease models? If so, they probably can't say anything confirming or denying, at least until the NDA expires.
  • Cool picture. I've tried to stitch panoramas from my oly 8mm FE, but the software didn't seem to like the FE images (I tried LR and MS ICE). I'll have to try darktable/GIMP you used. Any ...
  • Umm, the Disp button is below the arrow buttons on the G9, so if panny's L mount cameras follow the G9 like Tom supposed, you'll be happy.
  • Replied in Timelapse.
I think the first oly M43 with an internal intervalometer was the E-P5, but IIRC, it was only up to 100 images. (That might have been increased with firmware updates, though). Not absolutely ...

  • My understanding with Oly cameras, even with the monitor turned "off", the back light is still on. (I don't have one, though). And while having both monitor and EVF off would help battery-wise, ...
  • Replied in True, but...
All true, but why do Olympus and Panasonic still say that 200 is the base ISO? Do they know their own hardware, firmware and algorithms better than anyone else, or not? Do they spec that 200 is the ...
  • It says it right there: "Lenses compatible with the image stabilizer function" -> Lens IS and: "Lenses not compatible with the image stabilizer function" -> Body IS. Which is panny's way of saying ...
  • AVCHD is a whole file and folder structure. Check out the wikpedia on it . The page includes a structure diagram of how panasonic and canon do it, including indexs, video files, thumbnails, etc. Al ...
  • This is true for all Panasonic cameras (as of the beginning of 2019)). It's been this way since the GX7, when is made sense as panasonic's first attempt at IBIS wasn't as good as its OIS. Panny has ...
  • Theoretically, you should be able to trigger "any" camera with these triggers, as long as you have the correct cable. And for most camera brands besides panasonic and leica, this holds true. They ...
