Make America Great Again: How many full power HSS pops can you get out of this? I currently have the 860ii and overheats at about 20 pops. Recycle time is then about 8 secs. Even at 1/4 power it overheats quickly. Drives me nuts. I'm actually content with the 860ii power, I just need something with more pops with about the size of a speedlight.

The AD100 has cooling vents on the sides, so it will probably overheat more slowly than your V860.

mclaren777: What do I want most? I want Canon to make a 5DV.

If it has the drag-to-focus feature from the EOS R and the square AF sensors from the 1DX3, I will gladly buy three of these mythical cameras.

Battery life and subject acquisition are the two main advantages of DSLRs, though you also get perks like zero blackout. And I use my 5D4 in Live View at least 50% of the time so I'm hopeful to have that same flexibility with a potential 5DV.

There's no problem. I just want Canon to continue improving the 5D line. I'll gladly continue to use my 5D4s forever, but I would love at least one more upgrade before they give up.

The 1DX3 just doesn't have enough resolution for my needs.

I would be astonished if Canon walked away from the professional DSLR market so abruptly. Leaving the 1DX3 as the only option would be madness!

I hope Canon is able to launch the 5DV before it runs out of money.

This lockdown sure didn't help them. :(

5DV! 5DV! 5DV!

Come on, Canon, give us the good stuff!

Well said!

I love my 5D4s and I would gladly use them forever if Canon fails to make a 5DV.

mclaren777: I really hope Canon makes an SL4 based on this camera's specs.

The SL3 has nine AF points, but the T8i has 45.

This image is rough!

I wish DPreview included the EXIF data.

I really hope Canon shoots for the moon with the 5DV because it seems really unlikely that we'll get another top-tier DSLR afterwards.

mclaren777: My family has been enjoying the IVY REC so I'm glad to see that Canon is still experimenting in these areas.

I have a four-year-old son who loves taking pictures with it.

As he outgrows it, I plan to give it to his two-year-old sister.

If my 5T ever broke, I would quickly replace it with another one.

I have the 60mm with the EF mount and I really like this lens.

I hate it that Fuji provided renders instead of real pictures. :(

mclaren777: I will surely buy one of these in a few years but, for now, I eagerly wait for the 5D5.

I already own an EOS R so I don't see myself buying another R-series camera for quite a long time.

I much prefer Canon's brilliant DSLRs and I plan to buy them as long as they're made.
