It used to be a struggle on the old 4/3 but now... focusing in manual mode is so easy. Magnify, peaking, ability to choose magnify region and size via touch screen. Good times for manual lenses ...
-
Camerasize comparison shows that PenF is just like E-P5 just different placement of EVF and controla. Same size. I agree on a smaller body being a good idea though.
-
Definitely use magnify instead of peaking, much more accurate. Touchscreen allows you to tap which part to magnify.

Winter is finally subsiding in my forest which brought back some colors. Eerie effects of wide open Kamlan 50mm f1.1 Colors are back Found this guys too

Love those spiders, very photogenic.

Taken while testing Kamlan 50mm 1.1

Superb. Love the contrast.

Thanks. I will try this. Didn't know those settings are bound to selected mode. And I thought I reconfigured everything. :)

The roadmap has a 70-250 lens that is likely to be constant f4.
-
First one. Because I think bridge is important part of the picture, shame seeing it blurred like that.
-
Would be nice if it was configurable though for those who do not use those functions. (Although you made me curious, I will try that monichrome mode.)

The new 100-400 might be a good companion to this lens (even better for 12-100 though).
-
. You don't. I use the old 50-200 with TC without a grip and it is even bigger but very smooth to operate. PL100-400 also works without a grip but you need to lower the camera to change focal ...

Mine is stiff always, even in very hot weather. Also the focusing broke and repair costs about the same as buying new lens (and Panasonic service and support were very rude, looking for any excuse ...

Not when they pose for a photo. And this lens just asks for taking a fast small prime with it, like 17 f1.8.

Actually you usually don't notice effects of diffraction on m43 until around f11, they start to be a big problem since f16. (Was doing a lot of macro, so was testing it in practice a lot.)
-
? You are wrong, it is included. Read the information again.
-
It also works surprisingly well with Raynox DCR-250 (maybe because the center of the lens is very sharp) making for a nice small macro. Love the clickless aperture rings on those lenses.
-
Kamlan already makes 50mm f1.1 for m43. It is cheap and nice.
