That resin lining should help considerably, considering it is on the rear of the lens and takes a lot of load.

I'm waiting on the next batch of Kirk collars to be ready which should be any time now.  The Kirk collars are smooth and fast to use.  l have several including some Kirk feet.

I can only compare it to my Z7II and Z8.  The AWB gets just a little better all the time, but I don't see a big difference.  It just works great given decent light.

These are great questions.  Generally, it is very, very difficult to beat the sharpness, color, and accuracy of the Z mount lenses.
