    It looks like this cumulative update is the fix: pwrcfg -requests is now clear.

    Looks to me like with media sharing on, I now have to allow away mode. Before the computer would go to sleep, which of course meant that media sharing stopped working. Sound right to you?

    I had to re-install Office, and even then I had to run a little program to cure Outlook of producing double windows. If I have any more trouble I may take a good look at Thunderbird.
