They should have perfected the first one before they made a smaller version.

digital-freak: 1) The side pockets are ridiculously small and unusable(design over functionality).

2) The front pocket is too small for anything thicker than a filter.

3) Anything you do put in the pockets protrude inward rather than out, taking room away from the main inside compartment.

4) When the main flap is latched on the top clasp, it leaves gaping holes in the top sides of the bag due to the taper of the bag (more design over functionality)

5) Only 3 dividers come with the bag.

6) Strap adjustment is cool, but it's does not stay in place. It will slip!

7) The laptop compartment is way too tight for a PC laptop

The Thinktank Citywalker is half the price and twice the bag!

Different strokes for different folks, I personally think the Barbour camera bags look more like a womans purse.

If I were to purchase a messenger style today it would be the Tenba DNA 15 http://www.tenba.com/products/messenger-dna-15-graphite.aspx or the Thinktank citywalker 30 https://www.thinktankphoto.com/collections/citywalker-series/products/citywalker-30?variant=1247283259

Jane79: I'm sure it would be possible to produce a good quality messenger bag with a price tag of $249.95 in the USA. I don't like companies outsourcing manufacturing to cheap-labour factories in China and then asking premium prices. Check out Domke (USA) or Billingham (UK), both available on Amazon.

I would not be surpised if the $250 price is several months salary for the people who construct these bags. I wonder what they would have to say about the way they are being exploited to make the owners of Peak Design wealthy people while they are living in poverty.

CanonKen: Isn't this site a front for Amazon?

Adorama has been around for 30+ years! long before the internet or Amazon.

did you know that you can print fake money with colour printer.
ps: it's illegal or in the grey area of legal, but is it illegal to tell people it's possible?

Check the Canon website for a software version hat will run on your Operating system. It looks like Canon won't have software for Mountain Lion until Oct '12 they suggest trying the software for 10.7

Here's the link, Good luck

audijam: i have the same conclusion for Vertax BG-11. well built but the feedback from the buttons aren't the same as Canon legit copy and yeah Vertax is of plastic so it does feel different. however....it is still great value for its price.

They make one for Canon as well.
