Oh, come on, you're making me blush :-D Thanks for the words, and the vote of confidence. As Mako have said before, enforcing forum rules have nothing to do with brand loyalty. But I'm no stranger ...

Hi, and welcome to the forum. This thread belongs to the micro four thirds forum. You can find it there. Cheers!
  • Thanks Joe. It means a lot to me. I do have a special place for Pentax in my heart. Just check my history post: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/58591868

  • Which in turn makes the f:2.8 aperture not much of an advantage. Besides, AF will be lightning fast in comparison.
  • Replied in Who is this?
Me too. I was so excited when I purchased my first SLR, a Nikon FE while visiting NYC. I went to Adorama with my brother. Since he got a Nikon 80-200, I inheritted his Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm. ...
  • Simply breathtaking. Gorgeous place. Definitively early morning is one of the best times for these kind of photos. And great composition options. Love them all. Specially the juxtaposition of a ...
  • Created discussion thread Happy Thanksgiving everyone
To all Pentaxians and non-pentaxians alike. All the best and a big hug to your families.
  • I do have the 12-50mm John, although it is currently assigned to my son's E-M10, so I can't take it with me everywhere I go. Although, I can, and I will take it to me when going shooting ...

  • Well, here is the thing. I do have the 12-50mm, but is attached to my E-M10 which my son uses, so I have no permanent access to the lens, so I'd like a specific lens for Macro and close up, which ...

  • Replied in PL 45mm f2.8!
Sorry Janet, I was going to, but I was in a hurry, and wanted to put the poll in, so I forgot to mention that the 45mm is out of my budget right now. Unless, as you mention, I can find a good used ...
  • I'd love to do that, but there is no rental service down in Panama, so that's out of the question. In fact, there are no camera stored which carry any kind of m43 gear. Only Canikons, and very ...
  • Created poll thread Missing a Macro lens. Options?
I'm missing a good macro lens in my kit. I love to take photos of small critters like spiders and bugs, and for that it is a no brainer to choose the 60mm, although I'm thinking more commercially, ...
  • On the specs page (your link) says 1,299, but click on the yellow SHOP PEN CAMERAS button, and it will take you to the shop, where it says 1,199 Is not a glitch, but just a mistake in the product ...
  • Yeah, exactly. Well, I didn't knew there was one specifically for the moon, but what I mean is that people (non photographers, of course) tend to believe that you can take cityscapes and still get ...
  • Yeah, same here. I had my hopes up for tonight, but when I went out, it was a thick cover of clouds.
  • I hear you. Yeah, photograhing the moon is challenging. Many people don't realize that you can even use the Sunny 16 rule with the moon, since is getting illuminated by the sun, thus why is so ...
