Fuji will certainly need to pull its socks up in its QC department with these third party lenses hitting the market. Do Fuji really care though - why would it grant licenses to third parties? ...

I guess only you can decide what is right for you. I got the X-100V for the same reasons you describe (easy pick up and go camera) but I kept my X-T20 with some small lenses (18 & 27) which also ...

I agree - that sums it up in a nut shell!

Absolutely beautiful! Must come back again some day with my X-100V and WCL. Thanks for posting. Alan
-
I already have 3 interchangeable lens bodies so it worked for me. I only have the WCL for the X-100V and I must say I see no degrade in image quality. It works as a small alternative package for ...

I think you might like it a lot! I wouldn't be surprised if you traded your X-E4 especially as you also have the X-T. After my free trial, I got the 100V with the WCL. Love it ! Good luck.

I take your point but with respect you have no idea how much time and practice I have invested in obtaining a few in focus shots out of many taken of my dog. (The subject of this thread). I have ...

I understand your frustration as I have long given up taking motion pics with my Fujis. But we only buy Fuji cameras because they look nice...right? It might be worth someone sending Fuji a Sony ...

No special deal offered if I chose to keep the gear. Purchased later on. Regards. Alan

Yes. Absolutely top service. As a result, I purchased a new X-100V.

Got mine a few days ago. I previously downloaded the manual so I had some idea of its functions. Lovely camera but it does mis focus on occasions, but that's Fuji. Also got the WCL and can ...

Nice Guy. Nice videos. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I agree with what he said. I stopped upgrading some time back when, to me, it looked like Fuji was changing strategy and moving away from its original concept. Sad!

Single point AF is the most accurate. It was my sons camera and he used the second to smallest box size. If in snap mode, it will override the other settings such as AF and F stop. That is also ...

I agree. The X-100V that I tested certainly showed a lot of contrast. Perhaps this contributes to the new found sharpness of the MK2 lens.
-
My experience with 2 copies of the XF10 was that the centre appeared very sharp probably due to how Fuji tweaked the camera for it's intended market. I found it necessary to turn down the ...

If you want a Free, quick and easy image viewer and JPEG editor, take a look at Faststone. It is all I need most of the time to tweak JPEGS. Good luck.

I'm sure that is right. I don't have the camera just rented it for a few days but to have the facility to record a shutter count and allow that to be influenced by factors other than a shutter ...
-
I believe each press of the shutter button will be recorded. On page 203 of the user manual, it states "Other actions may also increment the counter, for example turning the camera off, changing ...
-
Rented the X-100V and checked the shutter count . What is the point of the Shutter Count when it can also be incremented by turning the camera off, changing the viewfinder display or choosing ...
