Such a shame Nikon decided to keep the electronics of the adapter closed, I have a bunch of canon lenses I want to use for video. Maybe this factor alone will bring me to Canon again.

Or I may just stay in the MFT ecosystem...

The only real contribution of Sony in the mirrorless department is selling a lot of mirrorless toys, so the other manufacturers wants to jump in.
No one single real innovation by them.
They are just very good at marketing.

I've noticed the aperture was f/11. At that aperture the lenses have some diffraction so the details are not at their maximum in both cameras. Specially the d800 is penalized but still wins over 5d in detail and noise.

Guys remember to look at the RAW before talking.
ISO noise is far better than mkII and so are details.
