Anthony Curcione: I had this dilemma at the end of last year and instead of a new MBP I built a smoking workstation and bought a Dell XPS 13 so I could still be mobile - and all for far less than an MBP. It's July and I've just switched back to a fully loaded 15" MBP and I'll never go back to Windows.

In the time I was on Windows I had to rebuild it 3 times, all for OS issues caused by updates that Microsoft couldn't solve. Not to mention missing things in Windows 10 that should have been there years ago, I just had enough. I'll gladly pay the "Apple Tax" to stick with Macs for my design development, and photography needs.

I was a PC guy before I was a Mac guy and I've built my own servers so why not build my own workstation? I built something that would have cost way more even from Dell and with the freedom of being able to upgrade at will. And I didn't even choose obscure hardware. It was all mainstream.

The problem wasn't the hardware, it was the software. Period. Every single issue I had over this time was OS based. It wasn't driver issues at all. Not a single one.

I had Office issues they couldn't solve. Networking issues they couldn't solve. Stupid issues they couldn't solve, like the damn store didn't work at all. Maybe it was because I'm a designer, developer, photographer that needed more? I dunno.

At the end of the day I was honestly fed up with how Windows IS at this point. They've made very little improvements since XP for crying out loud. What takes me a few keystrokes on Mac would take many more in Windows and I really tried to make it so that wasn't the case.

Windows 10 just sucks.

Please disable the mouse over pop-ups for traffic coming from iPads. Makes it almost completely unusable. There should also be a way to disable it for regular desktop traffic, but at least there you can moue out and hide them. Not so much for the iPad.
