Very few of these shots are actual "photos"

Is this really macro or simply close up?

Baking soda and a tooth brush.

It'll be good for portrait, as is my 800L.

Be nice if they broadened their range of patterns instead of sticking to types for the US market.
I did suggest to them some years ago with no interest.

(unknown member): Make me think it's a lot of simpler (and so efficienter) and cheaper to keep on SDs..

Also I can filter out cameras with CQD/CFexpress... easier to choose new cameras :)

That's not what millions of SD card users would tell you.

KW Phua: Be prepared to upgrade your PC and larger storage if you get the camera.

8k is years off being mainstream, 4K isn't even there yet.

Patlezinc: I wanted to judge this new low pass filter, but i found the portraits a bit soft. Then I saw that a Samyang 85 was used at 1.4, not the sharpest aperture... same for the 35 f2 at f2 :(

Will fait for some other lenses :)

I've yet to see a sample gallery of any Canon 1D pre-release series that people didn't have the same reaction.

Just to be clear, you said "Every single shot from any Canon camera" You should have said "pre-production"

"Always horrid, smeared and useless" ~ massive statement, care to back it up?

I don't think I've ever seen a "WOW" comment towards pics from any pre-production Canon camera in all the years I've been using them.

This is nothing different.

ASR45: Over exposed and soft, not bad for a snapshot though.

Your shots come out underexposed/overexposed because you let the camera decide on what the final image is going to look like. Man up and take it out of Auto.

A change purely for change sake, and lumping the 6D in with the 1D forum, not good.
