Point and shoot outwits BIF photographers

Eventually it will be point the camera and say omie  take a picture of a falcon….. no omie that a crow but eventually it will learn to distinguish between the two.

computational aspects  allow a photographer to preset a camera so one can point and shoot and concentrate on results, they are doing all the heavy lifting. no different to a smartphone.

Nothing wrong with point and shoot but I guess  you  consider yourself a superior photographer because you own a “real camera” Sophisticated autofocus and auto anything is what  cameras are about ...

my all time favourite mentality rarely makes the cut same goes with photos Other than that  the lens must have lost its favourite status  if you got rid of it on a previous occasion

Yep Harold that’s you but the majority of working photographers think otherwise and they are not missing out.

Sounds like point and shoot mentality let the camera do all the work leave the skills of a photographer gathering dust.
