High ISO is really impressive but low ISO and JPG too.
Improvement everywhere.
The image quality at 100 ISO is better than the other 24Mp FF camera.

I was not expecting such an amazing camera for 2000$
This is truly incredible.
And it works with adapters.
Serously thinking about buying one.
Fight is good for customers : Nikon has now the D850, Sony the 7R-III and the 7-III.
Not sure that these cameras would exist without this big fight between all these brands.

and there is the same difference between a crop sensor and a 1'' ...
so I'll sell my FF for a 1'' camera
No this is not serious ...

I cant understand the overral score of 70% (OK 69.99) ?

In fact :
1/ this camera is done for beginners.
2/ BUT it cant be used by beginners as the JPEG engine is bad and the AF is unusable.

I dont know any beginner that shoot RAW, and use manual focus ?
Well in these conditions how could it have more than 50% ?

On article DPReview Asks: What was your first camera? (760 comments in total)

Not sure about the very first, because it was a gift ... I think it was a Kodak Etra something. But then I bought an Olympus OM-1N (24x36) for astrophoto (mechanical shutter) and a 50mm F1.4. I was really pleased with this combo and I used it until begining of 2005.

fzrTom: For the fun, but I havent posted it in the challenge and I'll not, a 102400 ISO photo. I did it last month during my holidays and I could see better with the camera than with my eyes.

Yep today, cameras have incredible sensors. I could not see any colors, everything looked grey and darker but the camera recorded perfectly the colors.

Do not believe the Exif as it saturates the ISO to 65535.

102k ISO is something completly crazy for me. I did test between 25k ISO and 100k ISO but I should have tried higher value as the 102k ISO is not that bad.

Same here, I have just finished to vote but I fear that the vote will not be that fair. In fact watching every photo in big format take a lot of time and people could vote on the small image ... or not vote for every photo. I hope that it will not be the case.

OK thanks so I'll post a photo taken with a A mount lens and a LA-EA4 Adapter as you just said it is allowed.

I have asked this question because the LA-EA4 adapter has a Transluscent mirror so I wanted to know if it was allowed.
