On article Buying Guide: The best cameras for landscapes (180 comments in total)

I'm surprised that the Nikon D7200 and D5500 aren't included as I'm sure they will give better results than the Panasonic LX10 or the Sony RX10 lll. They do have class leading sensors for Landscapes at a very good price.

Also now with Lexar dumping it's XQD cards I'm wondering about the life expectancy of those cards. Also just saw the price of a Sony XQD card incredibly expensive.

In all this talk of mobile phones and their cameras I don't understand why Dpreview has never done a review of the Galaxy Kzoom which comes with a 10X optically stabilized zoom lens and xenon flash? It takes great photos and does everything that I need in a Smartphone. I am a photographer and when I'm not carrying my gear with me it's a great photo tool for me. Come on Dpreview why haven't you added these phones from Samsung to your mobile reviews, there was also the galaxy 4s zoom as well as some others.

On article Beta: try out our new 'light' color scheme (722 comments in total)

Too much white is hard on my eyes, remember they now have blue light filters on devices to cut down on all that white light.

As long as I have the ability to switch to my preference I don't mind.

bluestarc2k: Nice, I downloaded and checked it out, one problem I couldn't find the HDR plug in. I'm using Lightroom 6 and Elements 14. Anyone else notice this.

Thanks lintoni, That works great.

On challenge Rodents ID (6 comments in total)

I thought this challenge was to name the animal and location, I notice some of the pics don't name the rodent or name the location.

It seems some of these photos are not using titles from science fiction movies.
If I understand the rules it should be an existing science fiction movie that the picture should be titled after.
