I've shot the a7iii in 4K SLog2 for hours in broad sunlight, +30c. It took a couple hours, and sitting in direct sunlight for it to overheat. After a 5 minute cooldown, it never happened to me...

A lot of people won't get these lenses.
But as someone flying ff E mount lenses, it sucks to have to constantly rebalance.
Real video shooters will quietly buy these.

Great lens for the price. I do wish it had optical stabilization, but that would likely ruin the small size.
As far as a nifty fifty goes, it's fantastic and a great starter lens.
