Tell us why this Rollei is better or why it's not. A journalist's job is to also do research!
You need to know what your talking about & not just re-post company propaganda.

Right but does it spec out better? How & why.

Is there a price estimate for the body?

How big can you print exhibition quality with these miniature sensors?

Finally! Something better then a point & shoot for underwater? If sensor is bigger than a Go-Pro, does anyone know what size sensor? What is the 170 = to in 35mm FF?

The new Oly. body looks like a better value than the EOS M5.

There are a lot of contradictory opinions here so where's the MTF chart so we can have something tangible to compare to? I sold my Canon EF 50mm 1.4 because i love the lighter original metal version of the 50mm f1.8 (sleeper lens) that I got used for $50!

Why no Time Laps! Is there a work around with an intervalometer?

Test this in the underwater environment it was built for! Or send it to me & I will!

DavidsfotosDotCom: We would get better cameras faster if Apple buys Canon or Nikon!

Apple would not buy them to make phones! & won't happen, just saying Apple could implement the new tech & manufacturing faster.

There is a motorcycle alarm with a motion sensor that could work some of the time?

Get some dye bombs (like bank use, you have to rob a bank to get them though, so make your own) that explode tear gas or pepper spray when more that 7 feet from your transmitter. Get some 80 pound clear fishing line about 6' long as an invisible leash, before they can get their knife out you can club them with your mono pod, walking stick, ski pole / cane. You should know you look like a walking ATM in many places. If your caring a local grocery bag not a shopping bag you may fly under the radar mos the time but these people are hungry all the time.

Terry Breedlove: The new date inscription and security measures have made stealing smart phones so much more trouble. I wonder if they can implement something like that in cameras.

They can & should if it has GPS & or Wi-Fi, but then they could not sell as many replacement cameras! I think manufactures should be compelled to act in the public's best interest by standardizing lens mounts & car rim lug bolt patterns within 2 years!
