It uses a lot of processing power. Camera advance has to be in S (single shot) mode, then you can access the Clarity control. It takes a couple of seconds to write a file to the SD card with ...

What freeze issue? I have two X-T4 bodies and the 35mm f2 and neither of my cameras has frozen up.

I live in Iowa and we’ve had a very snowy, cold winter. I’ve been out photographing in several serious snowstorms with my X-T4s and X-Pro3 and I haven’t had any problems. I usually pat my cameras ...

A 135 f2 or f2.8 would equal the classic (if you’re a former Canon person) 200mm f2.8. A 120 f2 would be the equivalent of Nikon’s 180 f2.8. If the size were reasonable, and it took ...

I think 50-140 is a better choice for a certain segment of photographer: those who MUST have f2.8 constant aperture (some photojournalists, those who work indoors, and most sports photographers). ...

I’ve never had or used Sony, I came to Fuji from Olympus E-M1 Mk2 bodies. My X-T4 bodies are at least as good as my Oly bodies were when set to face detection. I use them for stills only and with ...

If you’re using LR6, the last “perpetual license” version of LR you could buy outright, you’ll have to the dng converter to get the files into LR. If you’re using a CC subscription version of LR ...

My gut feeling is that once you're used to the better AF, faster X 4 Processor, and additional film simulations of the X-T4 you'll find the X-Pro 2 or X100f something of a disappointment. That was ...

Back in the film days, when the discussion was about Leica M6 vs Canon F1 (or Nikon F whatever) the answer, for me, was yes. I could hold my M series Leica's about shutter speed slower than my ...

High ISO for me means 1600-3200. so far (I've had the X-T4 bodies since July 2020) I haven't needed to go above 3200 but I would probably scale from 1600. Sharpening is set to 0. I take all of ...

You have to do something to get the camera to focus. Either half press the shutter button or use use the touch screen. Until you’re comfortable with it, I would turn off the touch screen and use ...

A couple of thoughts. If the AF spot is moving around, make sure you have Face/Eye AF turned off. If the picture doesn't look sharp in the VF, check your diopter. You may need to adjust it.

They protect the top corners of the camera from brassing. They’re not that obnoxious. I left mine on.

I recently moved from M43 to Fuji and ended up with XT4 and XPro 3 bodies. I love the XPro 3. Like you I started my photography in the daze of film. I don't chimp very much (I keep the flippy ...

You could also try a browser like Photo Mechanic. PM is lightening fast, has full IPTC support and integrates well with LR. You could send your selects to a separate subfolder and then run those ...

I have an original Hadley that I bought in 2001 or 2002. Nearly 20 years later it is still my daily working bag. I think it is one size down from the bags you are considering. The empty weight ...

Nice set of pictures. I’m guessing 2015, August or September? Maybe October. In any case, after the Erawan Shrine bombing, which was in August.
