The Olympus C4000Z was my first digital camera. 4 megapixels and came out in 2002. what wonderful memories.

panteraaa: is there a Nikon DX prime lens that gives 55mm (about 85mm equiv) field of view?

Yes, there's a 60mm f/2.8 Macro. But it's not a DX lens. It's a FF lens but will work on DX just fine. It's $550.

All of these photos look heavily photoshopped. Is this what photography contests have come to?

Edmund17: I’m running Windows-8/64bit and I have the Nikon Code Pack installed (NEF Codec 1.16.0).

Does this new Codec Pack from Microsoft work along with the Nikon?
It’s a matter of choosing one or better to install both?

BTW: I don’t see the D600 on the Microsoft Pack, probably it was already included in the previous version?

I just installed this Microsoft Codec Pack over the Nikon Codec Pack and the MS one seems worse. With the MS Pack, when clicking on a thumbnail to view a NEF file, the images appear blurry for a split second as it processes the file before showing your image. I don't remember this problem with the Nikon Pack. The MS Pack also doesn't seem to show EXIF info. At least not with the Nikon camera I'm using.
