In the sky a mighty eagle doesn't care about what's illegal... ;)

If the lens is more important to you than anything try a little bit of drama. Go out and take the usually propagated approach to getting wider shots: shoot stitched panoramas. But when stitching ...

OMG! Yes, definitely a hardware issue, especially when a (to me) anonymous early youtube reviewer has pointed out the same flaw. Or it might be that the main power frequency (or in this case even ...

Not true in this case because the closest (in focus) areas show the same amount of detail as the far-away hills. Usually the further "through the soup" the less details.

The other way around: Photoshop does a really bad job at upscaling. Also "PL" is short for "Panasonic Leica". It is the expensive version (12-60 f2.8-4) of your plastic fantastic Panasonic LUMIX ...

That is not noise reduction. The lumix 12-60 does not resolve good emough for HiRes. And they were shot at F11 (!). So the result = blurry mess x 4.

If you read my comment AND THE COMMENT I REPLIED TO you would realise that I didn't try to say anything bad (or good) about the GH6, I simply wanted to debunk that the omission (or addition) of a ...

Hand held HiRes is also an established product differentiation feature, and the GH6 now has it, too. It's a pure photographic (non-video) feature. So I don't think omission of pre-burst is a sign ...

No, your post title says "Dreaming about more Dynamic Range", then you go into how much it would be, and panny vs. OM1 sensor. Yes, at the end you mention Bill, but clearly to everyone besides you ...

I've got mine even cheaper, bought it in a set with the 12-100 for 1600€. NEW! 12-100 is 1150€ which makes the body 450€ - tax included.

I think you don't have to be too creative to find situations where tracking a human body and not just eyes gives an advantage and perhaps in the end the keeper you were looking for. Just try to ...

He also is affiliated with Luminar and still in his video review he says the new Luminar Neo is the worst Luminar yet. So I do not think he is one of those ambassadors that praise a product when ...

"It is not that you 'need' more megapixels, but it is part of the evolution." Yes, same with CPUs. More MHz is part of the evolution, more is better. Who cares about core count, energy efficiency...

#11 Isn't just ugly, IMO it's fake. Sky has noice, mountains not, noice looks different in the foreground. Halo around the mountains. Fog around the foot of the mountains looks fake. IMO it's a...
