Sorry to hear that. I have bought some gear from these guys (esp the hard to find 105). They are great to work with. Hope insurance covers all, and that they did not lose anything they couldn't replace.

Grimstod: It should say NASA will be unveiling first color images. By the way these will be false color images.

Actually, I think President Biden will be unveiling. And false color or not, the details will be fascinating.

I like the confrontation between the buzzard and the Fox. But next time, can you get the fox to look a little more fierce?

Little John of GC: I wonder why a need to review this rebadged lens ... if we can just look up the review for the original Tamron

We have discussed this a bunch, and it appears the only thing we know is that the formula is the same. we don't know the difference in process, material, coatings, or focus motors. Those have to be tested. My assumption is that Nikon wanted to offer a 2.8 tele in this range(ish) priced for enthusiasts.

(unknown member): 99% of the advertising images are showing hand held use, when in reality 99% will be using a mono or tripod, advertising would have to be the most misleading business in the world. for practice try holding up 2x 2 litre coke bottles taped together and see how it feels :-)

The PF Series is lighter. Thats one of the selling points. Handholding is just a way to convey that this is lighter than you would expect.

I had no idea it was so pricey. I'll stay with Creative Cloud.

Makes sense. There was a tipping point, and you are documenting what you are changing. Very transparent. Thanks.

I am amazed at some of the comments here. Mirrorless is a scam? Really? Oh boy...

OK... you guys won me over. I'd want my shutter to sound like chirping birds. ;-)

I expect electric cars will soon have speakers to make it sound like a gas powered engine. ;-)

Only the yellow cap is focused on the true target. The others are off the mark.

Get buzz around this release. Although they should have mentioned that they do 8K without catching on fire, like other brands. ;-)

Probably need to arm the drone. Perhaps with lasers?

Roger Goun: Is it safe to assume that Lightroom Classic users will be left behind?

The article should have clearly listed LrC with ACR and Lightroom. It didn't. It should have. Adobe has 1 product called Lightroom, it has a completely different product called Lightroom classic. I don't trust images, as they can be Photoshopped.

The written story never said it was in Classic. You need to watch the video, adn they cover that. Good. I am a bit paranoid about Adobe.

Thanks. It was not obvious from the Article, but the video says it up front.

FujifilmXT3: I love the sky replacement tool, it saves many otherwise unusable images. Glad to see they've added more skies

It really comes in handy when Marketing changes their mind and wants a sunset shot, instead of nighttime. ;-)
