Photography has been a hobby since 1982, with huge gaps in 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. In the old days, I used 5247 and 5294 motion picture film exclusively (just slides and uncut negatives). In the 90s, I bulk-loaded Ektachrome 100 and had it processed by Fuji using their mailers (was that legal?). Somewhere I have about 6,000 slides just waiting to be scanned... Joined the digital bandwagon in 2000 with a Nikon 880, what a disappointment. Switched to an Olympus C-5060 in 2004, a bit better, but still slow and awkward. Finally pulled it all together with an Olympus E-620 in 2010. Just switched to a (smaller, lighter) OMD M10 in 2015, and have not looked back.
