I went cheap, with a 35/2 7 Artisans lens on a Fotasy adapter. It's tiny. It's no Summicron, but it's fine for my purposes.

I love my M-mount Heliar 15/4.5 with an adapter for my Z6. Great quality in a very small package.

It sounds like your application wouldn't necessarily require autofocus or autoanything, let alone a fast max aperture. I have a Fotasy Leica M to Nikon Z adapter, and rented a Voigtlander Super ...
