Hi all Does a Fuji Xt 200 work well with adapters and manual focus/aperture lenses? Does it allow for shooting without in camera aperture control? Is there a setting in menu? How does it preview ...

Bump Anybody else on this? :) also Is a Xt200 better than an older xt 20 for Astro??

Hi thanks for your time and examples, good photos, similarly to my results - I also tried pains of buildings and then stitching + correction. Depending on how much “looking up “ effect there was ...

Thanks for your thoughts man... i have same dilemma, finding a wide for apsc to use as shifted lens with adapter.... not easy. Maybe a full frame Samyang I think they have a 14 or 16mm manual ...
-
Why not F mount?? (or Tamron for F) also don’t you think doing Shift is easier on adapter+ Fuji than on Nikon F (only option other then F mount T/S is large format Pentax or Mamyia + adapter

Great stuff is the Samyang 12mm then well suited to panoramas? I’d have thought it’s wide angle characteristic distortion would not lend itself well to stitching Programms? How much frame coverage ...
-
Thanks yes is I’d prefer to have a ts lens as correcting wide angle lenses is not so ideal I think. Do you notice noticeable difference shooting in low light between Fuji and Nikon d750? Do you get ...
-
Hi all! for reasons I won’t go into it boils down to this choice. I know Apsc / FF difference but it is part of the dilemma: do I really need FF if I’m doing most landscape photography as c. 50mm ...

Hi sorry to barge in and ask point blank but: where could I learn about the challenges involved in making Milky Way mosaic/panorama? I don’t understand quite at all what you’re talking about ...

Nice! was it one photo or stacked? Your post processing seems also to be also up to scratch well done! I like the colors, seems like straight out of camera colors? And they seem to be pretty ...

Hi all Has anybody used a recent Canon RF 600 or better still 800mm (goes to 1600mm with 2x extender!!) yet? Is it a feasible option, even at f11? Better than Sigmas / Tamroms 600 zooms - which I ...
-
hi great photo nice colors - good processing :) Did you stack for a 7min total (in which case how many/what eco) or did you stack several 7mins exposures -how many, what you used to track? What mm ...

No problem. Im just wondering if and how the actual images differ when under/overexposed then matched in post. What are the inherent differences a sensor imparts to image due to exposure, surely a ...
-
Ok but then surely since exposure depends on shutter - time, I.e. how long Sensor sees the light, then even for iso invariant or variant sensors the more light they see obviously the different ...
-
Hey Igal, Eric, top advice thanks, similar to my conclusions from experience -1600iso seems to be a safe spot esp. on canons As a side note: during daytime shooting, would theoretically at least ...
-
Thanks....care to expand why in your opinion?
-
Hey Igal - you got it the other way round, if anything I am concerned about ISO VARIANCE not invariance :)

Hi yeah thanks for tips. i think my question really boils down to: could/is the ISO variancy of EOS Rp be a problem or not for untracked & lucky imaging? Having to use high ISO means usually: less ...
-
Hi all consider that I’m going to start with untracked astrophotography, and possibly lucky imaging using camera lenses (no refractors etc. of sorts) in favor of the Canon is the Price and the v. ...
