Lyrids coming up april 22nd. Any hot new lenses hit the market recently?  am using full frame (canon) I'm thinking of the sigma 14mm f1.8. But also thinking it might sit in the dry box for a long ...
  • you have the software on your machine, -it is just the licence that is checked online to make sure you have paid your pound of flesh. You don't have to be online to use it. Lightroom is hard to ...
  • Yes, i'm in similar situation to the OP and have also noticed those 'older' lappies still hold their own. The new 6 core 8750 could make a difference tho, looking forward to the testing of the new ...
  • Nope. tried that on my 4k 32". results is worse than a standard 1920x1200 dell monitor. Windows scaling is the devils work i tells ya. Every program i have tried attempts to scale up pics including ...
  • Crikey, that does not look like regular sensor dust, something in the lens?

  • The sample pics in the original post look bad on my monitor. I would throw both cameras straight in the bin based on that.
  • 'I mean full HD, -in my case it is 1920 x1200 on a dell U2410 (24").
  • I tried that, was underwhelmed by the result on 4K 32". Conclusion : Bog standard HD screen 24" is actually better than 4K. Particularly when surfing the web and looking at other peoples work in ...
  • Soft as molasses. its a lemon.
  • Replied in Faster lens
RX10 IV will blow it into another galaxy, - its faster lens, longer reach. Really tho, completely different class of camera, and the price reflects that.
  • Is it every raw picture in your computer affected? Or just the RX10? Could try copying the original files into a new folder and importing that new folder?
  • How will the laptop stay cool with all these thin light girlie man designs around now?
