LuckyLuke008: Are the penguins break-dancing? I don't get that one.

No that's not what is happening. The implication is that the penguin on the right is a doctor and the one on the left is describing his shoulder injury... gosh, I thought it was obvious.

3Percent: It's on my list. I have the 1D Mark II N and 1D Mark IV, love them both. Glad this was published, nice to see articles on DSLR's! They should never be removed from the market (as is the current trend). Photographers need choice, and the advantages that optical finder DSLR's bring to the table that mirrorless still haven't caught up with.

Teleportation of photons from the sensor surface to the EVF. Quantum synchronization of plasmonic harmonies detected on the sensor surface entangled within the data module. 0 lag, 0 loss, perfect single photon detection, no more ISO, infinite scaling from light to dark only limited by physical space for data storage. Processing is also over. No more processing, just knowing. Computer will know, can't explain it, but it just knows. New algorithms and storage devices will provide near infinite storage in current space occupied by an SD card. CFExpress will be able to store every photon in the universe. Future cameras engage in quantum synchronization at a distance, reading in entire human entities and storing them in crystal lattice structured drives. -crosseyed

YinJ: For anyone who ever wonders what Laowa means - it means Old Frog.

Hamsters > Frogs. Just my opinion.

Wow, this is so cool, never thought I'd live to see the day that Super Troopers would become a true story. Very cool stuff. *Enhance* *Enhance* *Enhaaaance*

In my house we respect hamsters not frogs. What is the word for "Old Hamster" in Chinese?

armandino: My impression is that the entire RF line up is pricey, while the lenses do not have the same feel of the EF L glass.
Not planning to get any RF for my R5 any time soon. Not mentioning RF is not backward compatible. You never know I might consider a 1DXII when they are going to be dirt cheap. Canon DSLRs will flood the used market very soon, always good to have a "disposable" body laying around.

What's so good about the 1Dx II?? What about the 1Dx III? Is it inferior?

jaiyenyen: The technology for LED’s to produce high CRI has been around for more than 10 years now and it is not by using RGB LED. Also most manufacturers only use CRI 1 through 8 to make their claims, technically not cheating, but to achieve superb CRI 1 through 13 must be used. On top of that to achieve true colour temperature matching and consistency the output of the LED’s must be on the Black Body Locus line. Again this is technology that has been commercially available for more than 10 years. It shocks me after being in the lighting industry for almost 50 years the claims of a lot of manufacturers make - again technically correct but contained within the parameters they set.

My guess is they're not interested in color matching, they're interested in changing the color temperature accurately. Rendering perfect colors is probably not the goal at the price point. For a lot of folks it won't matter because they're gonna go color grade the footage anyway...

Really? That's just unusual. What is the significance of frogs?

Ranger 9: NEWSFLASH: Guy Says His Company's New Product Is Great, Better than Competitors, and Everyone Should Buy It. Paid Endorsers Agree.

Guy??? THAT "GUY" IS A *DOCTOR* MAN!!! "Prolycht is the vision of Dr Anqing Liu, who set out to create a better LED light by using his many years of experience studying color reproduction and perceptual color. As a leading color expert Dr Liu was formerly a research scientist at Philips and an academic at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He contributed to the current CIE (International Commission on Illumination) standards which are used to evaluate lighting. Frustrated by the inferior color fidelity he saw on most professional LED lighting fixtures, Dr. Liu developed the Hyperlight color engine and founded Prolycht. The Orion 300 FS represents the current state of the art in tunable full spectrum LED technology."
