What kind of editing was done here? Your results are very detailed and clean, even at iso 300+ which is unusual.

Yes I know you quite well. I've seen many of your posts/comments on the past years. I honestly don't know why Nikon cut so many corners. But still, this camera is fun. I enjoy using it and this is ...

Someone with both P950 and P1000 confirmed that it's the same in both. He sent me a video showing that the P1000 also lags. Do keep in mind that it only happens when zooming in on a photo taken in ...

I can zoom in, it's just very laggy if the shot was taken in portrait mode. It's just a slow camera, that's all.

I checked with multiple users. Same issue.. it's just a slow camera, not a fault. Again, this does not happen in photos that were taken in landscape, only if the photo was shot in portrait. Thanks, ...

last pic :) Open window, pretty close - maybe 6 meters.

Yes, sadly P950 and P1000 are struggling with it. Also no touch screen.

I checked with other users with both p950 and p1000. It's just the way it is. Zooming in on a photo that was shot in portrait mode cause the camera to cough blood :/ It feels that unlike Panasonic ...

Still new to the P950, got it last week. Shot from my kitchen window Bad image, but uploaded anyway because it's interesting

Update: The laggy zoom in on my photos happens when a photo was shot in portrait (vertical). My firmware is 1.3. Not sure if faulty camera, bug or just slow camera. Update 2: Changed with other ...

Hi! I got my P950 a week ago to accompany my Lumix FZ300 and my Olympus EM-1 III. My questions: 1. When I go to playback mode to view photos, I like to zoom in into photos to check if they are ...

I never said megapixels aren't important. I said that it's not a relevant feature for filtering since both cheap crappy phone and high end can get high mp count.

I don't see how mpix is relevant, maybe sensor size is more relevant. Regarding RAW, I don't know android phones that don't allow raw photos (stock or gcam). What are we looking for exactly?

Yes. Before even turning the camera on the first time.

Just got a brand new P950. Same thing. Around 1600-2000 there is some grinding noise. Glad to hear it's normal. Edit: No, it's in the 1000-2000 range.

Exactly my thought. Why does it need to touch the resolution if I'm under 600mm (FZ300). It should lower the resolution the longer you zoom.

Lucky for me this one comes to the same spot every day :) There are free other animals there: Sooc jpeg

I believe it's a "White-throated kingfisher". Yeah, not very rare, but still beautiful.

It depends. On the village where I grew up they get spooked easily. This one lives in the city, I guess they are more used to see humans so you can get somewhat close. Thank you
