I can only get it to work if I turn Bluetooth off

If you make this change you are lacking a fast 35mm equivalent in the mix. That’s very handy for the baby shots. You might want to consider adding the 23 f/2.

I went to Italy a few years ago and took just the 14 and 23. I,used the 14 for 90% of my shots. I think you might be surprised how much you use the wide angle. You’ll definitely want it for the ...

I noticed the new Tamron lenses don’t work on the older models. Strange considering Fuji lenses do. Does anyone know what changed to make it so the lenses don’t work on older models?

I shot Pentax before moving to Fuji when my kids were young. First a k100d Super then a K5. Continuous AF wasn’t the best and I certainly missed some shots but to be honest I don’t remember them. ...

The fact that they consider XS entry gives me hope they’ll bring IBIS to the XTx0 line as well.

Thx. This thread has been extremely helpful for me. I’m considering doing exactly that now.
-
Thx, maybe I’m saying it wrong. I guess what I’m asking/saying is that if I cropped a14 shot to 16, would it give me the same compression effect as had I shot it originally at 16. If that’s the ...

Thx, am starting to lean in the don’t change the lenses just the camera direction.
-
Right, cropping would not change the perspective. So if I shot at 14 and cropped to 16 it would still have the perspective of the 14.

I just read this: http://www.boostyourphotography.com/2013/09/zooming-vs-cropping.html does that mean I’m actually right?
-
This is actually wonderful news! I was of a completely different understanding. If that’s the case, keeping the 14 makes sense and I only need to make a 23 decision. Thank you for your help.
-
True, but correct me if I’m wrong, but even if I were to crop, the perspective of the 14 would still be “embedded” into the image. For example, if I were to crop this image, it still wouldn’t fix ...

The 23 is generally good, I do however favor the bokeh of the 1.4. The 14 is tricky. Sometimes the vanishing point can be a bit extreme and I’m wondering if a 16 might calm that down a bit. Take ...

Thx for the suggestion. I considered this but if I’m not mistaken the wide converter only goes to 28mm. I could potentially jump from 21 to 24, but a jump to 28 is just too restrictive IMO.
-
Thx for your thoughts. Seems like a nod toward doing nothing lens wise and sticking with what I have. Maybe I’ll just consider a camera upgrade only. I too like small.
-
IBIS. My 15 year old Pentax k100d had it and it was a relatively small camera. It’s silly that in 2022 they can’t (or rather refuse to) do it. They are too worried about canabalization.
-
Thx for responding. You are correct in your assumption that I shoot stills only. I guess I could consider the lens swaps with my xt10, but then I wouldn’t gain the benefits of additional ...

I’ve been using an xt10 for years now and have six lenses. I very rarely use the 35, 60 and 55-200 and am considering selling them. I do however use my 18-55 on occasion, so I’ll keep that for ...
