@Greg7579 enjoy the 100. I have the 50S and R and have shot it extensively. Can't say enough about that lineup of lenses. Well I can say at times they're *too* sharp, and I bet you know what I mean...
-
@Greg7579 I agree I mean I bought these cameras as well without seeing such photos here. I think the issue for the Monochrom series camera is that its supposed to in theory provide some different...

@Greg7579 you are right that not every camera deserves the finest efforts, but we are talking about a Leica Q2M, it is a specialty item. You want to see my work? I've posted it extensively on the...

Image gallery complaints is not about effort but talent. They simply don't have it at this site. That's just the reality. Some are born or can develop it after time, some just aren't seeing it....
-
I will have the Q2M soon and can compare to my M10M. Of coz it's still apples and pears but whatever.
-
The sample gallery just isn't cutting the justice here. I wish DPR would get actual photographers and not hobbyists who are very technically adept at specs and the device. This camera deserves a...

Ya agree, can do incredible things with just about any camera today, but the Q2 has a tonal ability that gives it an aesthetic that can't really be solved for in post IMO.
-
It’s a really fantastic camera. The focus peaking on it is very clear and bold unlike what Fuji gives us (difficult to even see the lines), which is important given no AF. Tonality is stunning ...
-
@freediverx agree I have Q2 + GRii and GRiii. My issue with GRiii is the IBIS unit makes it overly heavy and odd feeling to carry, the GRii is much more of a compact *feeling* device, not just...

I'm telling ya, just look at Fox News. Keep posting this political tripe especially at this moment in time and half your audience will be gone. Spare us, or at least half of us, kk?

@csxpark ... CONTINUED.... By all means go buy the fastest AF out there. But to say that this XF 35mm F1.4 is somehow really derelict for its ancient AF motor speeds I think is grossly overstating...
-
@cxspark I film people entirely at night in NYC with a flash and I don't really care whether they like it or not (it so happens that 90% are unaware, 9% don't care, and 1% scoff and I'm a block...
-
@cxsparc My grandfather escaped a Stalanist labor camp and emigrated to NYC. Maybe you're stretching. I understand it's not the fastest AF, and heaven knows what the ROI is for Fuji to address...
-
The XF 1.4 isn’t lacking in sharp detail and it’s character has been documented endlessly. Magic.
-
Don't say Lightpix FlashQ bla bla bla. It's been on backorder for the past 250 years, so that is becoming a laughable suggestion. There is a whole in this market and someone should step in and ...

Guess you got that one wrong eh?

@Jones Indiana I hand color grade my 14bit GFX files with custom software I have written. Also LOL of you to ignore the 100mp resolving glass that Fuji have designed around this camera line,...
-
It may be a nod to Summicron, aka Fujinon like the XF F2 lenses, or it may just have been a design constraint to keep the glass compact. Who knows, but my god the amount of complaining around DPR....
-
Go review the history of compact MF film cameras (which Fuji also was a leader in). Sorry there are rarely fast lenses in use. The noise is lower on these sensors at higher Iso due to larger pixel...
