MLPhoto88: The new 16-35L III is by far the best and worth the praise its getting. Amazing performance & resolution even wide open in the corners which the prior version failed at. Ive waited 10 years for this version of the 16-35 to finally come out.

I agree Canon was lacking good wide angle lenses but they change everything with 11-24mm F4, 16-35mm F4 IS and 16-35mm F2.8 mkiii

You will go no nowhere if you will be gear obsessed photographer :) In capable hands even canon rebel will produce way better images then top top of the line Sony a7 in unskilled photographer hands..
