Just a guess here but do you have the SL set on Uncompressed Raw?  I believe the M10R only shoots in Lossless Compressed.  I own an M10R but not the SL2 so just guessing that it has the different ...

I've had the SC P900 for about 6 months now and I print every 2-3 weeks.  If I've not used the printer for a week I'll run a print head nozzle check and so far no problems.

I use Profoto lights with my M10-R and M10 Monochrom so should work for an SL-2.  The trigger made by Profoto are not dedicated for Leica's but are manual with no TTL.

That is a good question.  I think both cameras are really good but I think the M10M does a little better in that area.  I don't seem to have any issues with the M10M but still have to watch out ...
