That combo would wheigh about the same as a 6d with the kitlens you own. So you would lose all the practical advantages. Besides Leica shoters with a Q only have 28 mm or an M camera with a 35 or ...

That would be a great idea and don't forget to compare that 15-85 to the most recent 18-55 and check for the differences. You will be surprised.:-)

I also have the 15-85 and I do agree that the image quality is 5 % better. However the 18-55 is faster to zoom in and out. I can shoot it while cycling and it is not taken that seriously. Not much ...
