For £12,500 I would want something that looked an aweful lot better than that. There will obviously be no doubting image quality from that thing, but it just looks like Stevie Wonder designed it.

Charging that sort of money for something so hideous really is taking the p**s

I'm hoping we get a similar post when the new Nexus phones come out in October....wonder if ESPN will splash everyone with pics from those cameras. Or if dpreview will even care.

The images are undeniably good, as are those from the Galaxy S7, but when spending the sort of money the iphone 7 costs, I should darn well hope they are good.

Unfortunately there is absolutely no corelation between how good images can be whether they were shot on a US phone (actually made in China but who cares), by a US company, in a US Tournament a a US site. Just because things are from the US doesn't mean they will be good. There is unfortunately an awful lot of crap that comes from the US as well.
