This photo has won a couple of challenges back then. Congrats for that. And of course, it is post-processed. I'm not saying it's wrong to do so, in fact, I'd say, a very creative processing. Just so you know. congrats! ;)
Bob Meyer: Nothing new here. I went to a halloween party as a camera about 30 years ago. I'll admit this one looks a bit nicer, but it's not a new idea. (And, of course, I didn't have a digital camera and laptop computer in mine.)
Dude, this is a fully-functional costume. Not just any costume. So I think it's new. The design maybe not.

If you don't mind I'm asking, what lens did you use? I noticed the 50mm focal length. Could it be, the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D or 50mm f/1.8G?
But the rules claimed, creativity is encouraged in processing.

What are you people looking at? Who does the final judging, Paula Abdul?
There are at least 10 better shots and I'm not refering to my submission. As a working pro, I turn in hundreds of images to editors, marketing services, ad companies, ect....I try and turn in stuff a little outside of the box. I expect harsh C&C.
I see shots that too dark, lighting is wrong and just plain bad.
Again, this is a fine shot, maybe top 20, but not #1

Really great shot. I acknowledged that Contax RTS is an SLR as in a film camera. Cool! But, do tell what is the exact shutter speed? :)
