It looks so cool, but it's too big in terms of limited range.
I'm missing smc-m 20mm f4 like compact limited to match with 31, 43, 77.
I'll keep my fa 20mm/f2.8 with slight ca.

I would like pick Pana-Leica 50-200/2.8-4 instead of 35-100/2.8 on Panasonic mft system.
Yes. It's not 70-200 equivalent. But looks more naturally matched as a trinity.
And the optical quality is superbly amongst all other 100-400 equivalent lenses.

It looks a pseudo FE.
But it's a emergence of z50.

It's time to buy secondhand GH5 original in way cheaper price.

It is unproven theory.
If you tasted true PENTAX colour rendering, any other brand's colour will feels watery and boring.
Many Pentaxians will agree with this theory, I hope.

I feels, it is little bit washed out on these samples. May it isn't comes from body but comes from shooting settings.

Class A: Really nice job, Chris, thanks!

Too bad you couldn't use the K-3 III with one of the many small primes available in the Pentax APS-C line up which happens to be one of the best in the industry (alongside Fuji). The zooms you used are handy and of decent quality, but in my view shooting with a small and optically excellent prime brings a whole other quality of enjoyment to the photography game.

I was a bit surprised that you did not mention the K-3 III's ability to track eyes even when not using LiveView. That's a party trick not many DSLRs can pull off. Maybe I missed it.

Yes. I really love theirs prime lenses since Spotmatic era.
But the lens 16-85/f3.5-5.6 for this clip is superior than all other brand's equivalent one like
EF-S 15-85/f3.5-5.6, Nikkor 16-85/f3.5-5.6, Nikkor 16-80/f2.8-4, Zeiss Alpha 16-85/f3.5-4.5 and even XF 16-80/f4.

It's another Leica's cliche marketing, but it will still works.

Now can we expect Z90 an apsc flagship to surpassing D500? No!

It looks awesome choice.

But I'm still missing mirrorless version of 24-60/f2.8 EX with similar size and weight of 28-70/f2.8 DG DN.

NexUser: So they don't really improve the AF motor.
I actually like what Pentax has done with HD lenses. There are many small improvements that make the newer lenses much better despite the same optical design, and keeping the price the same.

But the body driven motor is very very fast after K3. It's much faster than Nikon or Alpha bodies in terms of driving speed and power.

The problem comes from poor af-c tracking ability and af algorithm. That's big shame of pentax system.

Tizzio: Why all odd focal lengths!

31mm is a succeeding old smc-K 30mm f2.8. It can act as like 28mm(when you a step back) and 35mm(when you a step forward).

43mm is the diagonal length of full frame(135 film format).

77mm is comes from Japanese Chinese charactor of 'Joy' which is looks like '77'.

Very Limited. So it's unique like a green star.

The abnormal(?) angle of view teaches me many things on photographic action.
I also like non aspherical construction.

Now it's time to bring fast and compact 24mp FF dslr named as K-2.

36mp+ or even near 50mp FF will be named K-1 iii.
I'm talking about another niche, mirrorless sized compact and fast FF with proven 24mp sector.

70cm closest focus length means very restrictive using.
Still my 50mm f2 lens will shine against this lens.

Please bring K3 sized 24mp lower priced full frame dslr to the market.
That will smaller than R6, Z5 and Z6.
Will it be competitive against size wise battle.

Anyway, I'll buy the another long waiting new apsc flagship body on the first day of released.

I'm a big fan of PENTAX system for over 30 years frankly. I completely agree with their decision and the way.
But they must bring in D500 like af performance on old safox and kaf system. That's one of the biggest reason to use SLR system.
And additionally if they achieve to build LX or MX like big bright ovf system on current dslr body, it will be definitely a big punch against mirrorless market whether it is effective or not.
