Carl Zeiss doesn't make IS lenses, they make ISS lenses.

Copal Fit: Congrats, Canon..... You are making DSLR-sized cameras with mirrorless technology (shrug). Next!

@Camley I'm not against big camera, i have a 1dsiii. I am against people who think manufacturer don't have to offer big AND small cameras. Canon is the best for full frame size offering because it offers RP (480gr) to R3 (1kg), R5/R6/R on the middle. I'd like an RP with a good sensor + ibis.

@thx1138 - I can tell you that more than half of the planet population have small hands and don't want something bulky. guess why? because there're women. but in you're t-rex mind you don't even consider them, big camera for big men. Another tips for you, a lot of men, like me, like small sized mirrorless camera because it's lighter.

Sony is the king of camera specs spreadsheets and benchmarks. no contest. This A1 is a paper beast.
When it comes to handling and ergonomics and IQ, it depends of users only.
Buyers really need to know that and try all brand.
You can give me 100MP, 16k 180fps, i will always prefer the rendering of an old 5D classic or an xtrans sensor in terms of colors/highlights/shadows for stills or videos. No chart can tell me what you will like.
For people who like sony IQ this A1 is great.

On article DPReview TV: Fujifilm X-T4 review (241 comments in total)

I got different fuji camera among eos 5dII and now eos rp.

fuji's apsc advantages over canon :
- video (better or equal full frame camera)
- DR (you can really see it on the pictures)
- (now IBIS)

canon's advantage (eos r and rp) :
- full frame look pictures, can't be beaten. even with a 8 year old sensor for eos rp.

it's only 1 advantage for canon but this is game changer. i compared so much pictures.

difference than can be an advantage or inconvenient depending of your taste :
- color tone and redition : different from all over camera because of xtrans (i like both fuji and canon)
- body look and ergonomics (i prefer canon)
- lenses (i prefer canon too price / quality ratio)

both share the size advantage (game changer too vs nikon and sony)

your choice depend of your taste and use...make a list and check boxes and order your priority, it's an easy way to choose the best camera you need.
remember, no perfect camera for now, but got a lot hope in R6.

On article Canon unveils $400 RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM (508 comments in total)

Canon is just killing M43 and APSC.
you were looking at bright and expensive glass, you were looking at the wrong direction.

this lens is 12-50 f2-3.5 M43
this lens is 18-80 f3-4,8 APSC

it's 400gr and 400$ (launch price wich mean soon 250$)

you're RP become a full frame classic with the most beautifull lens (85 1.2, 50 1.2, 28-70 2)
and an m43 apsc killer because you can also bring it on a summer trip where you don't need stop of light but lightweight.
RP become swiss army knife

and RP is just the beginnning, newer bodies will come, with ibis, lighter, smaller, cheaper....
