Dave: While flying over others' property may be legal, doing it without asking in advance is,IMO, rude.

Quite an altitude difference, Greg, and no cameras. A pretty weak argument.

SDKat, it's on the roads where those trucks are hazard. Their drivers have quotas to meet and drive accordingly.

Let's get back to where we started, manners. Do you two consider yourself polite drone pilots?

Requesting overflight permission is vastly preferable to the operator notifying the property owner of their desire to retrieve the remains of their drone.

No exemption for Amazon, FedEx, et al. Their delivery trucks are already enough of a menace.

Dave: Makes the 90D look like a good value proposition.

That would have been backsliding in my opinion.

Why not a 7DIII? There's more to it than the AF system.

Nice shot. I love cutting ice.

Could be fun. Wish it were 500mm, though.

Dave: Were you in a helicopter to capture that using 150mm?

Ah, Klein Matterhorn makes sense. Thanks. Still, I did not realize how close it was to Breithorn. Maybe a bit cropped?

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/44/Breithorn_occ._from_Klein_Matterhorn_%282%29.JPG

We visited Zermatt and stayed in the hotel behind the Matterhorn Museum - https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPz2h1k_Rn7C60aPRd9_d-R9XPwA7ECcjIrbE-E6s0_Dk_e-CbojI0JLa0vnTGJsg/photo/AF1QipMyTtKRHZSG9eonEqFGU7D6wim5Y2QRGBdP4piB?key=bEZyWk5vdG5FdDduZGtyUnAzM3dMbUM5Wk5fSEh3. Our time was limited and one of our party disdains cable cars. So our only "ascent" was the Gornergrat. Still an excellent experience.

@JPatrick, how about just looking at where the brand's name is displayed? Sets a tone for me. Not for you? That's OK. I do wonder what a blind person would say after feeling the three.

I have zero problems with the way Hasselblad cameras look and feel.
Some annoyance if Sony lacks a style of its own and is copying them.

Techo: The higher mp count and 11 fps would've made this a great all around camera. Except, there's no PC socket. No 24P at any resolution. I was 'almost' ready to forego the no dual card and use this cam as a secondary video and backup body. Thing is I would've been fine with the 7dmkII for another year but the video codec is so highly compressed out of cam that it's embarrassing to look at when compared to what colleagues bring in who are shooting with Fuji or Sony. Darn, the D500 is looking better these days. C'mon Canon. Some of us really don't want to switch. Make it harder for us to do so.

So a great all-around camera has to be good at video?

Do video cameras get judged the same way for their stills?

I get that it looks like a 5D on a 1200mm.
